Kel Seliger attacks Empowered Texans

By Mr. Seliger’s own admission, he does not even know Mr. Sullivan or he would have known that Mr. Sullivan is no lobbyist.  But if he was, why would Mr. Seliger have a problem with that since it seems that most of his money (other than the money he gives himself) comes from one lobbyist group or another.  To even imply that Mr. Sullivan is in favor of giving Texans bacterial diarrhea to save money is a little out there.  Mr. Sullivan is one of the most, if not the most,  knowledgeable individuals on Texas legislation.  He was voted one of the top 25 men in Texas by “Texas Monthly” magazine and they do not even like him.  A representative of Mr. Seliger’s office was quoted as saying Mr. Sullivan was not credible.  Even “Texas Monthly” magazine never made that kind of statement.  But, if Mr. Seliger does not like “Empowered Texans” evaluation that gave him D+, maybe he would like to start discrediting “Texas Eagle Forum” who gave him a 60 for a conservative rating.  If these were school grades, both would be failing and it does not matter how many issues you voted right on, you are still letting down your district if you are not consistently conservative.
